Meet the the 44th Long Preston Queen.
She is 13-year-old Imogen Daley, who lives in the village and is a pupil at Settle College.
She will take centre stage at Long Preston’s May Day celebrations on Saturday, May 3.
Also taking part will be her ten-year-old brother, William, who will be dancing around the maypole with fellow youngsters from Long Preston Primary School.
“Imogen is looking forward to it,” said her mum, Georgina. “She applied last year but was unsuccessful and this was her last chance as you have to be under 14.”
Imogen, who enjoys going beating with her dad Ian, and spaniel Holly, will be attended by Year Two pupils from school.
