A Horton-in-Craven woman has been named Employee of the Year out of 1,400 workers at one of the area’s top organisations.
Bev Petrossian, leadership and learning manager at Skipton Building Society, received the accolade at the society’s annual conference.
Bev, who has been with the society for two years, won the affection of her colleagues because of the encouragement and motivation she gives to others. She said: “I feel really special to win this award and I am grateful for all the fantastic comments from people. To be so publicly recognised for doing a job I really enjoy is fantastic.
“Other people’s obvious delight for me is one of the things that epitomises what makes Skipton a great place to work.”
Claire Davey, who nominated Bev, said: “Bev has made a significant difference.”
