British Transport Police officers investigating the theft of a passenger’s wallet from a train travelling between Skipton and Bradford Forster Square stations have released an image of a man they would like to speak to about the incident.

Officers believe the man has information which can assist the investigation into the theft which took place on Wednesday, January 29 at around 7.15pm.

Investigating officer PC Jon Holt said: “The victim, a 27-year-old man from Bradford, left his wallet on the seat of a train and got up to leave the train. A few minutes later he realised his mistake and returned to discover it had disappeared.

"After reviewing CCTV from the train I would like to trace the man pictured. Do you know his identity or current whereabouts?"
