Pupils at a Barnoldswick high school gathered forensic evidence from a mock crime scene.
As part of an activity organised by the Prince’s Trust, seven students at West Craven High Technology College are participating in six sessions about forensic science based in school and at the University of Central Lancashire, Preston.
The first session at West Craven incorporated an introduction to forensic science and a crime scene with evidence-based activities.
Pupils learned about fingerprint techniques and how prints are taken from a crime scene.
At the mock crime scene, the students had to gather and analyse evidence, which had to bagged and packaged.
