Skipton’s children’s charity SELFA is celebrating after receiving a donation of £3,000 towards its holiday workshops from Sovereign Health Care Charitable Trust.
It is the third time the trust, funded by Bradford-based company Sovereign Health Care, has supported the charity, which helps children who are vulnerable, disabled or disadvantaged.
Jo Habib, from the trust, said: “We are delighted to support this children’s charity and continue to be impressed by the support it provides to local children.”
Karen Roberts, senior children’s worker at SELFA, added: “This recent donation will help fund part of our workshop programme for 2014. We run a range of free activities and trips throughout the school holidays.”
