Internationally renowned author Simon Higgins dropped in on Ermysted’s Grammar School, Skipton, as part of World Book Week.
The best-selling author of Thunderfish and Moonshadow: Eye of the Beast, talked to pupils about his books, as well as his love of travel and the martial arts.
In addition to award- winning books on crime, adventure and fantasy, Mr Higgins, who was born in England, but moved to Africa and then South Australia, is a former police officer, prosecutor and private eye.
He has a black belt in martial art iaido and is a fan of feng shui and kung fu.
