To celebrate World Book Day, children at Threshfield Primary School were asked to design a bookmark for the marketing team at the village’s Threshfield Court Care Home.
And the winning design came from eight-year-old Pippa Harrison.
The children were also invited to entertain residents with a medley of their favourite songs and were presented with a book as a momento of their visit.
Threshfield Court manager Tony Lyon said: “It was a delight to be working in conjunction with Threshfield School again. It is always a pleasure to have visitors in the home. It brings the community together.”
