A Skipton woman who stole items including cat food and shampoo from Morrisons Supermarket was in breach of an earlier conditional discharge, magistrates were told.
Annie Fawcett, 24, was seen by a member of store staff on March 22 taking goods worth £18.38 without paying, Skipton magistrates heard.
She was seen to scan some items at the self-service till, but not all, and was stopped on her way out.
Fawcett, of Beamsley Court, accepted she was in breach of a 12-month conditional discharge given in May last year for theft of items worth £24 from B&M Stores, Broughton Road.
Magistrates resentenced her for the earlier theft and gave her a six-month community order with supervision, and fined her £85, with costs of £60.
