Zarina’s tearoom in Kettlewell is celebrating double success.

Just after being voted number one café by Skipton Cycling Club, it has now been named “best coffee and cake stop” by The Wharfedale Wheelers – who describe themselves as Burley-in-Wharfedale’s oldest and finest cycling club.

They said it was only café to score a perfect 10 in the toasted teacake challenge.

Owner Zarina Belk said: “This means a great deal to me. We all work very hard to deliver the best to our customers and it is lovely when you are acknowledged in this way.”

Since the announcement that The Tour de France was coming to Craven, Zarina has noticed a big increase in the number of cycling customers, bringing much-needed trade to the village.
