Kilnsey Park was a hive of activity over the Bank Holiday weekend.
It staged a Life is Sweet event, which raised money for local bees and beekeeping.
Visitors were able to find out about honey and its uses, enjoy “buzzy bee” crafts, face painting and candle rolling and look into the extraordinary world of the beehive, where up to 60,000 bees can live happily in a box the size of a small television.
And refreshments included a honey milkshake and locally made honeycomb ice cream Children were also invited to plant a bee-friendly seed to take home to help attract wildlife in their own gardens.
