The A59 between Skipton and Broughton has reopened today (Thursday) following a collision between two cars at just before 8am. The road was closed in both directions, causing long delays for motorists following the collision between a Renault Megane and a Volkswagen Combo van at the Gargrave junction close to the Bull at Broughton. A man in his 30s was taken to Airedale General Hospital. The road reopened at 9.15am.
