Skipton Soroptimist Club entertained Saïda Kaddour from the Soroptimist International Club, Tunis-Ariana.
Saïda visited clubs in the Yorkshire region as a Grant of Friendship programme.
And, last Tuesday, she was welcomed by Skipton and Keighley members at the Soroptimist Rooms in Otley Street.
Audrey Swale described how the rooms were created from three derelict cottages, bought for £650, while Keighley members Susan Bartlett and Christine Anderton gave a presentation showing the work being done at Eastwood School in Keighley.
In return, Saïda gave an insight into the role of her club and the lives of women in Tunisia.
Jane Jolly, secretary of the Skipton Club acted as host for the visit, and on Thursday, 35 members and friends entertained Saïda to lunch. She had also been taken on a tour of the Dales by Maureen Pearce and Jane on Wednesday.
