THE Mikron Theatre Company is sailing into Craven.

The company – which travels around the country by inland waterway on its vintage narrowboat, Tyseley – will perform Till the Cows Come Home at the Tempest Arms, Elslack, next Thursday, June 5.

The action focuses on Harvey Granelli who is fed up of working for Thistledale Council and decides to follow in the footsteps of his Italian father and make ice cream.

But his quest for the right ingredients takes him to the corners of the earth – from Thistledale to Tuscany and from Bridlington to Brazil.

Director Olwen May says: “Till The Cows Come Home has all the adventure and invention of a Hollywood block-buster with some real questions about what we do to the food we eat. It’s also fun and chock full of music and humour.”

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £24.99, which includes a two course meal. To book, call 01282 842450 or email info@tempestarms
