Members of Craven Sailing Club have revealed the latest addition to their fleet - a new RS Tera boat purchased with assistance from the Eric Twiname Trust.
The trust was set up in memory of Eric Twiname - a loved and respected sailor, journalist and musician - and now promotes and supports youth sailing and racing.
Commodore Al Cass said: 'We very much appreciate the support given to us. Sailing is a fantastic sport for young people and this boat will give even more youngsters the opportunity to hone their skills. Thanks go to Gary McKinney and Tim Littler for successfully organising the bid and bringing us to this point.”
The light single-hander boat is ideal for young people and was officially launched at Sunday's Push the Boat Out Day when the club opened its doors to everyone, with opportunities to look round, find out more about the sport, or have sail in a dinghy.
