LOTHERSDALE pupils have taken a trip back in time as they prepare for their third vintage and handmade fair at Skipton Town Hall.

The event, on Saturday June 21, will raise funds for the school.

Secretary of Lothersdale School Association, Sally Woodhead, said: “This is a slightly different take on the traditional school fair and we hope that with the trend for vintage and handmade items so strong that we will have lots of visitors.

“It will be a real family fun day out we have some fantastic stallholders supporting us and all the money we raise will go to school funds.

“The fair is the biggest fundraiser in the school calendar and this year we offering more for the children including design a bag, colouring competition, bunting making, face painting , lucky dip and other small games.”

In keeping with tradition, there will also be a cake stall, tombola jam jar stall, craft stall and a vintage style tea room, selling cakes all lovingly made by parents of the school.
