CRAVEN Museum and Gallery was rocking last Wednesday.
To celebrate Yorkshire Geology Month, the museum - located in Skipton Town Hall - held its latest family workshop with the theme Craven Rocks.
The 30 or so participants tried t heir hand at moulding fossils out of Plaster of Paris and made masks of creatures that lived in the sea millions of years ago.
They also handled fossils in the museum collection which are usually behind glass and explored erupting volcanoes and earthquakes with hands-on activities.
Suzanne Callaghan, museum and arts manager, said: "They had great fun, especially with the masks and Plaster of Paris. Everyone got a turn, which was good."
