A SKIPTON man is celebrating after winning a bodybuilding competition.
Martin Busfield, 30, of The Grove, took home top honours at the National Amateur Bodybuilders' Association (NABBA) North East competition held recently in Batley.
Competing against 23 other bodybuilders, Martin struck the winning pose and won a trophy for his efforts.
His wife, Samantha Busfield, was very proud of her husband, who was competing in his first ever bodybuilding competition.
"Martin's always loved weight training, but the dedication it took him from him to do this was amazing," said Samantha. "He had to train four or five hours a day, six days a week - and the diet he had to follow was very strict.
"He had to get as ripped as possible."
