Businesses get broadband masterclass
8:10pm Friday 6th June 2014 in News
NORTH Craven businesses are set to receive free advice on their doorstep as the popular Superfast North Yorkshire business support programme brings one of its free masterclasses to Settle.
On Tuesday, local businesses are invited to the Royal Oak Hotel for a morning of taster sessions to find out more about how digital marketing, social media and websites can help them to improve their business returns.
One local business to have already benefited from the support is PBA Applied Ecology, one of the leading ecological practices in the UK, based in Settle.
Company secretary Elizabeth Judson said: “We found the support from SFNY really useful in helping us to assess our website and raising our awareness of social media.”
The company also secured a small grant which helped to pay for website development. “Our business has expanded and we have employed a new member of staff,” said Elizabeth.
To book a place at next week’s event, contact the Superfast North Yorkshire team on 0845 002 0021 or visit sfny.co.uk.
