HEALTHWATCH - the new independent consumer champion for health and social care in England - is hosting a public event in Skipton later this month.
Residents will be able to find out more about the organisation, which was set up in April 2013 to champion the voice of local people in helping to improve local services.
And they will be able to have their say on Healthwatch's priorities for 2014/2015, which relate to hospital discharge and post-hospital support, out-of-hours GP services and carers support services.
The event will also provide an opportunity for members of the public, patients, carers and voluntary and community organisations to meet with and hear from planners and providers of health and care in Craven.
The programme will feature presentations from key stakeholders such as the Care Quality Commission and Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group.
The event will take place at Skipton Town Hall on Tuesday, June 24, from 9.30am to 2pm and to book a place, register onhealthwatchnorthyorkshirecraven.eventbrite.co.uk or email healthwatchny@nbforum.org.uk
