FANTASTIC! That was the reaction of a self-confessed Rolling Stones fanatic when we told him he had won the Craven Herald competition to meet the group's former bass player Bill Wyman.
Builder David Hargreaves, of The Croft, Airton, will get to see Bill and his band The Rhythm Kings when they play at the Grassington Festival on Wednesday, June 25. And he will get the chance to have a chat with the rock legend before the band takes to the stage in what promises to be one of the highlights of the entire festival.
David said: "'I'm really over the moon - I have always loved the Stones, even more than The Beatles. I'm really excited about it. I go back a long way with the Stones - I was a huge fan as long ago as when Brian Jones was in the band."
As well as being part of a small group who will get to talk to Bill Wyman, David also wins a pair of tickets to see the concert.
It's no surprise that David knew the answer to the competition question: 'Which band did Bill Wyman play with for 31 years? The answer - The Rolling Stones!
