YEAR six students at Silsden's Hothfield School got a taste of possible future jobs at a careers convention.
The event was organised by Cameron Dale, of Bradford’s Education, Enterprise and Employment team, and among those taking part was Sainsbury's supermarket.
Its master baker, Mike Armstrong, demonstrated various baking skills and, at lunchtime, pupils enjoyed a self prepared pizza, which had been taken to the kitchen and cooked.
Others taking part included the police, Craven College, the Army and the Health and Safety Executive.
Students rotated around the groups, listening to details of the work and taking part in short question and answer sessions.
