New band Chill Pill will be making their debut in The Swan, Addingham this Saturday (21st June).
Chill Pill were formed back in the summer of 2013 from an idea of ‘Cobbydales’ very own Chris Dinsdale. The band’s concept is to play songs from their all-time chill lists which include the likes of
Pink Floyd, Leonard Cohen, John Martyn, Cockney Rebel to name just a few.
Band members are Chris Dinsdale playing acoustic guitar and lead vocalist, Chris Thompson playing electric and acoustic guitars and providing backing vocals, Bob Howell playing Saxophone, Clarinet & Egg and also providing backing vocals and BJ Walmsley playing Cajon, bongo’s and anything that rattles.
Ian landlord of The Swan said ‘The band have been rehearsing regularly over the last 6 months and with the variety of songs they are going to cover we are really looking forward to the evening.’
So forget your Paracetamol and aspirin and come and see the band and get your dose of Chill Pill. The band will be playing from 9pm.
