APPEAL bosses are hoping businesses will get shirty !
The team behind the Airedale Hospital Emergency Department Appeal has issued a plea for a donation of up to 50 T-shirts.
Volunteers will wear the shirts when they stage stalls and bucket collections at venues across the region this summer.
Karen Williams, medical secretary in A&E, said: "Many members of the public have volunteered to help with bucket collections and we are delighted, but we do not have the funds available to purchase T-shirts for them to wear as every penny is going towards equipment and resources for the new unit.
"We are looking for a local business which has around 40 to 50 spare shirts, preferably in large and extra large, and could bring them to us here at the hospital.
"All that the businesses will have to do is supply the T-shirts. We can then print the appeal logo on the front.
"Perhaps there is a business which has recently re-branded or has ordered too many T-shirts for its staff?
βIt is OK to provide any colour of shirt as long as there is enough space to print our logo.β
