HEALTH and care in Craven will be discussed at a public meeting at Skipton Town Hall on Tuesday, June 24.

Independent consumer champion, Healthwatch North Yorkshire, was set up a year ago to be the voice of people in helping to improve services in their area.

And Tuesday's event will be a chance for people to find out what it has achieved in its first year.

It will include presentations from key stakeholders, including the Care Quality Commission, the Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group, and voluntary and community sector organisations.

People will be able to have their say on topics such as discharge from hospital and post hospital support, out of hours GP support, and carers support

It will also be a chance for groups and organisations to promote themselves and engage with residents.

It will take place from 9.30am to 2pm. To book a place, email healthwatchny@nbforum.org.uk
