CARLETON Primary School pupils found themselves making a trunk call when they welcomed an 'elephant' into the playground. The special visitor, brought in to the school by local PCSO Jason Payne, was linked in to pupils' reading of the Elmer the Elephant books, based around the idea that 'differences are good', said headteacher Duggie Speight.
