Police have issued a fresh appeal about missing Skipton woman Linda Scaife as they continue their search for her.

Linda, 54, has not been seen since 10am on Monday, June 16 June. She was spotted in Keighley having left Airedale General Hospital around an hour earlier.

It is believed that she may be in the Bramley area of Leeds.

She was expected to go home in Skipton that afternoon but has not returned.

She was spotted on a bus between Skipton and Airedale Hospital on the morning of Monday, June 16.

Officers are appealing to the public to keep an eye out for Linda and report any sightings of her as soon as possible.

Linda is described as white, around 5ft 2in tall, with a medium build, blue eyes, a rosy complexion, and shoulder length blonde hair, which she usually combs back on top and holds in place with a butterfly clip.

When she was last seen, Linda was wearing black trousers, a black coat and black boots and was carrying a black and cream handbag.

Sergeant Trevor Burton, of Skipton Police, said: “Linda’s family are understandably anxious about her and I am urging anyone who has seen her or knows where she is to get in touch with the police.

“At the moment, we don’t know what her intentions are or where she has headed but it is possible that she may seek accommodation at hostels in the Leeds area.

“We would also appeal directly to Linda to contact the police, your family or friends and let us know that you are safe.”

Linda or anyone who can help officers with their inquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 1 – and pass information to the Force Control Room.
