The new owners of Brody’s Yorkshire Pizzeria; Dave Clough and Jane Hurst wanted to do something to support the local community to mark their new venture.
As Jane has worked in education all of her life she wanted to do something which would celebrate our local young people.
Brody’s sponsored the Craven Pupil Referral Service Year 11 leavers’ meal for the pupils and staff which followed a successful celebratory leavers’ assembly for pupils and their families. Craven PRS works with pupils who are not able to attend mainstream schools for a variety of reasons.
The pupils enjoyed two courses and all drinks courtesy of Brody’s which enabled the staff and pupils to celebrate the pupils achievements in a relaxed atmosphere and an enjoyable evening was had by all!
Headteacher Dale Hannah said “I was delighted when Brody’s made their very kind offer of sponsoring our year 11 leavers’ meal. It’s the first time that this has happened and our pupils really benefitted from it, both socially and culturally. They really enjoyed it too!
