CHEFS at the Bollywood Cottage Indian Restaurant in Gargrave are celebrating after reaching the final of a national curry competition.
They will prepare their best dishes in a bid to impress MPs at the House of Commons restaurant in the Tiffin Cup, a competition to find the best South Asian restaurant in the country which also raises cash for charity.
The restaurant was nominated by Skipton MP Julian Smith and was chosen to represent Skipton and Ripon after a secret visit by competition judges.
Co-owner Ali Ahmed said everyone at the Bollywood Cottage was "pretty excited" about reaching the final, where their chef plus two assistants will 'cook off' against 12 other finalists at Bellamy's Restaurant in the Commons on July 8.
