POLICE officers who came across a man putting diesel into a car parked in Engine Shed Lane, Skipton, found a small bag of cocaine in the glove box, magistrates heard.
A further two small bag of the class A drug were found in the glove box of the Vauxhall Vectra, Skipton magistrates was told on Friday.
Michael Howley, 27, the driver of the car, and his two passengers, Moin Mohammed, 23, and Mohammed Zubair, 23, all of Keighley, pleaded guilty to the possession of cocaine on February 22.
Zubair, of Park Avenue, and Mohammed, of Cark Road, had no previous convictions, both worked in supermarkets and had the cocaine for their own use, said Keith Blackwell in mitigation.
Howley, of Kenya Mount, representing himself, also of previous good character, said he was filling his car with diesel from a can in his boot, when the police appeared.
Mohammed was fined £110 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and victims surcharge of £20. Zubair was fined £180, costs of £85 and a victims surcharge of £20 and Howley was fined £150, costs of £85 and a victims surcharge of £20.
