A PIECE of cycling history was on show for Grand Depart crowds in Skipton.

Mick Storey, from York, had a traditional pennyfarthing bicycle as he joined the crowds on the town's High Street.

Mick, from Get Cycling, a company which encourages people to get on two wheels and also helps with safety training, said pennyfarthings were popular in the late 1800s and were even used for racing in their day.
