POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to locate a vintage motorcycle which was stolen during a burglary in Sutton-in-Craven.

The red Royal Enfield Constellation 700cc bike was taken when a lock-up garage was broken into in April 2014.

The bike, which is worth £6,000, was loaded onto a Brenderup single axle trailer which was also stolen in the burglary.

A 22-year-old man from Bradford has been charged in connection with the burglary and has been remanded in custody.

However, the bike and the trailer have not been recovered and officers are appealing to anyone who knows where they are to contact them.

The motorbike has great sentimental value to the victim.

Anyone who can help is urged to contact the North Yorkshire Police force control room on 101 or email force.control@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk. Please quote reference number 12140060043.
