Skipton market trader, Alan Speak, who stopped having a haircut for eight months, has raised at least £3,600 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Mr Speak, had his locks shorn in the middle of High Street, Skipton, on the second day of the Tour de France Grand Depart on Sunday. by retired barber, John Lancaster.
"I want to thank everyone who has supported me. People have been very generous," said Mrs Speak, who this week retired after 17 years of running his stationery and household stall outside Skipton Building Society.
