ZOE Slater has gathered quite a following in the farming world since she received a prestigious award at the Great Yorkshire Show.
Zoe, 19, from Thorlby, was nominated for the title of Agricultural Student of the Year for 2014, an achievement which is all the more remarkable since she does not come from a farming background.
But the Craven College apprentice certainly seems to have gained the trust of her charges at the farm in Bell Busk where she works, and a college assessor said she was "an excellent apprentice who will be an asset to the livestock industry".
