CLAPHAM Street Fair marks its 35th anniversary next weekend.
This year’s event – which takes place next Saturday, July 26 from 9.30am - promises to be a “grand day out”. There will be the usual stalls and refreshments plus musical entertainment from community jazz band Dales Jam and Batala Lancaster with its samba rhythms.
The children's tent will be making a welcome return with lots of activities for younger visitors while those who want a bit more exercise can take part in the Cave Rescue Organisation Olympics.
Once again, the classic car rally is attracting a wide range of exhibitors with 40 or so cars already booked in.
And there is the famous duck race at 2.30pm.
