ST John’s Church, Cononley, celebrated its150th anniversary on Sunday.
A special service of Holy Communion was led by the Acting Bishop of Bradford, the Right Rev Tom Butler, assisted by the vicar, the Rev John Peet.
Ninety one people attended, including 14 children, and the church was decorated with nearly 100 white roses in memory of those who had passed away.
The service was followed by refreshments in Cononley Village Institute at which the Bishop cut a celebration cake.
Visitors were able to view an exhibition of memorabilia as well as proposed plans for the refurbishment of St John’s Church.
