BARNOLDSWICK'S Valley Gardens is among eight parks in Pendle that will be able to fly a Green Flag this year.
The park, located on Gisburn Road, has met strict assessment criteria to win a Green Flag award for the sixth consecutive year.
The national award, handed out by charity Keep Britain Tidy, recognises the best parks and green spaces across the country.
Kieron Roberts, Pendle Council's service development officer for parks, said: “Our staff work hard to maintain high standards in all our parks. We appreciate our parks are not perfect but our staff and all the Friends of Parks groups work hard to make them the best they can be. Clearly, they are achieving that, as these Green Flag awards have recognised."
