Skipton Clarets, the local branch of Burnley F.C. supporters, are ready to tackle the new season, with their team back in the Premier League.
They meet on the second Monday of every month at the Devonshire Hotel (Wetherspoons) in Newmarket Street. (This month, August 11th at 7.30 p.m.) There is always a lively agenda, with this month, a review of the close season, plans for the new season, a Clarets quiz, the annual session of "forecasting the new season", Clarets news and gossip, and any plans we have for future away games.
With Burnley back in the Premier League again, hopes are high for another good season, after last season's success. All Clarets fans are invited to come along and join with our lively group of local supporters. (Any enquiries, please contact Chairman, Rev. David Wiseman 797443.)
