AN historic engine which once powered a Bradley mill will be on public show this weekend.
The 1901 steam machine can be viewed on Sunday during an open day at the Bancroft Mill museum, in Barnoldswick.
The engine was moved from Peter Green's Cross Lane Mill, in Bradley, to Bancroft about a decade ago and is undergoing restoration.
Preparations are being made to lift an 8.8-ton flywheel for the machine into place.
The open day starts at 11am and the mayor and mayoress of Pendle, Coun Graham Roach and Miss Joanne Sagar, will visit during the afternoon.
