FIRE crews from four towns tackled a blaze in a yard on Bentham Road, Ingleton, on Sunday night.

It involved a tractor towing a slurry tanker and a pile of timber.

The blaze was extinguished by firefighters from Bentham, Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale and Hornby.

It is believed the fire was started by an electrical fault on the tractor.
