CLINICAL leaders in Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven are inviting people to put forward their questions and have their say about local health services.

NHS Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is holding an informal lunch followed by its annual general meeting on Thursday, September 18 and everyone is welcome.

The event will give people the chance to meet staff from the CCG, ask questions and share their views

Dr Colin Renwick, chairman of NHS Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven CCG, said: “The CCG’s role is to shape local health services so that patients and the public are clearly at the heart of everything we do.

“We’re always keen to hear local people’s experiences of healthcare – the good and the bad – so we have a clear idea of what patients want from the NHS. We hope as many people as possible will come along for the lunch and then stay on for our AGM, where we will be presenting our annual report and accounts for our first year.

“We are inviting people to come along and tell us what’s important to them. Governing body members will be on hand to answer questions and children are also very welcome.”

Lunch starts at 1noon, followed by the AGM at 1pm. Both events will be held at Champions Church, Carleton Road, Skipton. The venue does not have a car park but there is some on-street parking available on Carleton Road.
