THE Rainhall Centre in Barnoldswick is hosting a yarn and fabric festival next month.

Many exhibitors, demonstrators and stallholders have come together to contribute to this festival of all things yarn and fabric.

There will be demonstrations of crafts such as lacemaking, cross-stitch, embroidery, spinning on wheel, braiding on a loom, felting, printing and how to dye wools using natural materials.

Beverley Chapelhow, from Ribble Valley Art Studio, will demonstrate and exhibit some of her own fabric and wool sculptures.

There will be locally sourced natural wools, fabrics and yarn and fabric handcrafted items for sale and there will be a tabletop sale where individuals and charities will sell yarn and fabric items.

The handicrafts fair will take place on Saturday, October 11, from 10.30am to 3pm. Entry is free.

Anyone interested in renting a table, contact the centre on 01282 818250.
