ORGANISERS of the second Hellifield Beer Festival, held in June, have presented a total of £2,600 to various local organisations. Among those to benefit were Hellifield gala, primary and pre-schools, the Guides, the church, and the institute.
Cash was also given to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the village's rounders and football teams.
Committee chairman David Firth said: "Once again we have been overwhelmed by the support for this event, both in terms of helpers, sponsors and, of course, everyone who came along during the two days."
