GARGRAVE Pantomime Group is celebrating.

At the recent Wharfedale Festival of Theatre, it was awarded four certificates of outstanding performance, one certificate of merit, the festival chairman's award and finally Ilkley Playhouse Trophy for its 2014 pantomime, Alice Returns.

But it is not resting on its laurels.

It is already planning next year's show which will be Aladdin. It will be written by Ruth Garrett and directed by Anita Eccles, with Geoff Garrett as musical director.

Enrolment will take place at Gargrave Village Hall tonight at 7.30pm for all actors (both adult and children), dancers, and back stage people.

The show will be performed in the village hall from February 19 to 21.
