CROSS Hills Tennis Club held its annual charity fundraising day in aid of Sue Ryder's Manorlands Hospice.
The day, organised by ladies' team captain Gilly Milnes, included a tennis tournament, barbecue lunch, balloon raffle and a musical interlude and sing-a-long provided by club member, Silsden school teacher Jonathan Crossley.
The event is held every year in memory of Lyn Ferguson, a member of the club, who passed away in 2009. "It's been a great day," said club chairman Glenn Frost. "The weather was kind and the 40 plus members and friends who attended helped to raise over £450."
