A 42-YEAR-OLD man has been cleared of repeatedly raping a teenage girl from Skipton.
Shafiq Rahman was found not guilty by a jury at Bradford Crown Court today after a three-day trial.
He was unanimously acquitted of ten charges of raping the complainant when she was aged 13 to 17.
Rahman, formerly of Brougham Street, Skipton, now of Tweedle Hill Road, Manchester, was discharged from the dock by Judge John Potter.
He had been on bail throughout the court proceedings.
