STUDENTS from West Craven High Technology College in Barnoldswick recently visited London.
Pupils from various year groups visited Downing Street, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey and went shopping on Oxford Street.
"The students were extremely well behaved and a pleasure to take on a trip," said a school spokesman. "The security police at Downing Street said that it was lovely to have such polite and pleasant pupils visiting them.
"It was the first trip to London for some and the hustle and bustle of city life came as something of a shock to them."
