THE heroic adventures of the infamous Mr Toad of Toad Hall will be brought to the Skipton stage next month.
Skipton Players will perform a modern adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s Wind in the Willows, where Mr Toad and his dear friends Ratty, Mole and Badger try to outwit the mischievous creatures of the Wild Wood.
With its subtle blend of anthropomorphism and very British humor, it is a classic tale of river life and friendship and Mike Kenny's modern adaptation is geared towards character, colour and lively storytelling.
It will be performed at the Little Theatre from Tuesday, December 2, to Saturday, December 6, with five evening performances at 7.30pm and a matinee performance at 2.30pm on the Saturday.
Tickets are available from 07527 141176.
