Robert Minton-Taylor
A CONONLEY resident has been nominated for two top awards at Leeds Beckett University.
Robert Minton-Taylor, who teaches at the university, has been shortlisted as Inspiring Teacher of the Year and Personal Tutor of the Year in the 2014 Leeds Beckett University Staff Awards.
He said: “I always remember what a tough time I had as a student so I strive to ensure my lectures and tutorials are accessible, interesting and fun. I want to give students the employability skills that will give them a head start in their careers.”
Earlier this year, Mr Minton-Taylor won the Full Circle award from Leeds Beckett’s Students’ Union for his “motivational support of students".
