PANTOMIME stalwarts, young and old, turned out to support a coffee morning at Gargrave Village Hall to raise funds for next year’s pantomime show.
More than £160 was raised in just a couple of hours from sales of hot drinks, homemade cakes and toasted teacakes, plus a raffle full of Christmas goodies and a book stall.
Rehearsals for next year’s panto are well under way. Aladdin has been written by 17-year-old Ruth Garrett, from Skipton, and features a large cast of local children, teenagers and adults.
More helpers are needed for the next panto fundraiser - another coffee morning at Gargrave Village Hall next Saturday, December 13.
