FIREFIGHTERS from five different stations tackled a blaze at a two-storey barn near Carleton on Friday.
The alarm was raised at about 7pm and crews from Skipton, Grassington, Silsden and Harrogate went to the scene, along with an aerial ladder unit from Harrogate and a water bowser from Tadcaster.
It took some time to bring the fire under control, with the last engine leaving at 2.30am on Saturday morning.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
